Welcome to the MEH Consultants Ltd May newsletter. Continuing on in our series of COVID-19 newsletters, this month we are focusing on getting our organisations functioning again and achieving the ‘new normal’ whilst protecting our employees and ensuring the safety of our operations. What do we need in place to get our people back to work?

BUT FIRST….MEH BUSINESS CARRIES ON

Like many organisations MEH has had to adapt to allow us to ensure our continued support services and ensure the safety our both ourselves and you our clients. We have managed to remain fully operational, and our health and safety support is available. We are still visiting clients face to face, albeit respecting the latest Govt guidance and social distancing techniques.

We are also developing our remote worker safety training offerings using the Zoom platform. Now could be the perfect time to arrange some safety training via a virtual classroom in real time for your workers whilst at home. Safety training is probably going to be low down the priority list when employees return to the workplace in the near future, but we need to be conscious that we must keep our workers current. We also need to be cognisant that some refresher training may be needed once they return after a prolonged period away from the workplace.

Welcome to the MEH Consultants Ltd April newsletter. Following on from last month’s newsletter where we considered how to protect our traveling workforce from COVID-19, this month we are looking at protecting those workers now based at home. Are we doing enough to protect our employees who are remote working?

BUT FIRST….MEH NEWS

We are living in times of unparalleled disruption and complexity. As individuals and organisations, our ability to mitigate threats and manage risks has never been so important. Like many organisations MEH is having to adapt to allow us to ensure our continued support services. We would like to assure all of our clients and customers that we are still fully operational, and health and safety support is still available. Afterall, Health and Safety isn’t taking a corona virus break, accidents are even more important to prevent with our reduced workforces and stretched emergency services.

Britain's Energy Coast Business Cluster (formerly West Cumbria Business Cluster) is a private sector led group of over 300 organisations, ranging in size from sole traders and SME businesses to global blue-chip corporations. Our diverse and growing membership include international, specialist and highly competitive companies - many of which that offer high value jobs in the region - as well as those in the supply chain and companies key to Cumbria's rural economy. The Cluster was founded in 2003 in response to concerns about the impact of decommissioning of civil nuclear facilities on the supply chain and the wider economy of West Cumbria. Now firmly established, we help our member companies share knowledge and market intelligence and build links with research and development and business support organisations. We actively support them to promote their individual capabilities. We are looking forward to exciting futire challenges at MEH Consultants Ltd.
