Course Length: Half day
Learn about the impact of workplace stress and techniques for managing it. This practical course on managing stress at work will help employees and managers to avoid workplace stress and provide the skills necessary to combat it should it occur.
Asbestos awareness
Course Length: Half day
This asbestos awareness training course is designed to inform duty holders and employees about the dangers of working with asbestos, so that they can plan their work safely, prevent ill-health and avoid work that involves asbestos containing materials.
Legionella awareness
Course Length: Half day
This course aims to help people in control of premises, as well as persons at risk of contact, to understand the health risks created by Legionella bacteria. The course includes a breakdown of what needs to be included in a risk assessment, while explaining the range of control measures which can be used to protect the health and safety of individuals in the workplace.
Hand Arm Vibration (HAVS) awareness
Course Length: Half day
This Hand-Arm Vibration (HAVS) training course explores the connection between power tool vibrations and ill health. It also details how to conduct a workplace risk assessment and how you can implement certain control measures in order to safeguard workers from harm due to vibration exposure.
Noise awareness
Course Length: Half day
This noise awareness training course equips learners with a comprehensive understanding of the risks posed by workplace noise, as well as understanding how control measures can be implemented to reduce this risk – keeping exposure to a minimum and protecting employees.

Manual handling
Course Length: Half day
This manual handling awareness course will walk learners through the various risks that are associated with manual handling. Workers can learn the necessary skills they need to successfully identify and control all manual handling hazards and operate safely.
Work at height
Course Length: Half day
If you or your employees engage in activities that require work, supervision, planning or organising work at height, then learning how to do so correctly is essential. This course introduces learners to the risks associated with working at height, giving them the necessary skills to apply control measures and use equipment safely to ensure safe working at height.

Risk assessment

This risk assessment training course is ideal for those who are responsible for conducting risk assessments. It will help you understand each step of the assessment process, as well as detailing legal requirements and how to assess and manage hazards confidently on your own premises.
Office safety
Course Length: Half day
This office health and safety training course is designed for people who work in an office environment to help them understand more about the health and safety procedures that apply to them. You will learn to identify the main hazards and how they can be prevented – along with an overview of employees’ legal responsibilities.
Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessment
Course Length: Half day
This display screen equipment course equips learners with a detailed understanding of the various types of DSE and the potential health risks of using DSE. It also explains how to carry out a DSE assessment of workstations, as well as the correct postures workers should adopt.
Accident management and investigation
Course Length: Half day
Accident investigation is an important management tool, crucial for incident prevention, dealing with insurance and any potential litigation. The course is designed to provide the information to enable learners to carry out investigations, identify immediate and underlying causes and write a meaningful report thus enabling actions to be taken to prevent a reoccurrence.
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
Course Length: Half day
This course is designed to introduce learners to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH). You will be given a detailed overview of the risks involved and will gain the necessary skills to identify and control these risks.
Lone working
Course Length: Half day
This lone working course is designed to help bolster employee and employer understanding of the risks to health and safety that are posed by lone working. You will learn how to carry out a successful risk assessment and implement appropriate control measures to keep lone workers safe.
Machinery safety
Course Length: Half day
This course aims to provide delegates with the knowledge of the principles of machinery and lifting safety in line with the PUWER and LOLER regulations. Delegates will be given an understanding of how to identify machinery and lifting hazards, effective safeguarding techniques as well as being able to identify behavioural factors which influence the safe use of machinery and the effective use of lifting plans.
Fire:
Fire awareness
Course Length: Half day
This fire safety awareness course is designed for anyone at any level of a business who needs fire safety awareness. It teaches them the basics about fire causation and what fire safety measures should be in place in their workplace, including evacuation procedures, and how they can help minimise fire risks.
Fire safety management
Course Length: Half day
This fire risk assessment course is aimed at owners and employers of workplaces. It explains how to implement fire safety procedures that ensure the building is up to the required standard and meets legal requirements.
Fire warden/marshal training
Course Length: Half day
This fire warden training course explains in detail the duties of a fire warden, including how to conduct fire risk assessments and ensure good fire safety practices are followed. You will also learn how to conduct evacuations effectively, as well as how to implement and maintain fire safety arrangements.
Management safety training:
Senior leader health and safety training
Course Length: One day
This interactive training is designed to provide directors and senior leaders with an understanding of strategic planning on risk management, how to manage safety more effectively within their organisations, and how to fulfill their legal obligations with robust health and safety legislation. The course aims to inspire directors and senior leaders in terms of their personal interest in and responsibility for the safety, health and wellbeing of people in their organisation.
Site safety awareness for workers
Course Length: Half day
This Health and Safety in the Workplace course educates learners about the types of health and safety hazards they may face while at work. You will explore what control measures a workplace should have in place, and how employees should best adhere to keep risks minimised.
Health and Safety Responsibilities for Managers and Supervisors Course
Course Length: One day
This Health and Safety Management course assists employers, managers and supervisors to understand more about their legal responsibilities and essential role in developing a positive health and safety culture and effective management systems within your organization. Key legislation and leadership management techniques will be detailed throughout the course.
Health and Safety for Managers and Supervisors Course
Course Length: Two days
This Health and safety management course not only details the legal responsibilities and the key role of the manager and supervisor within the organization (the 1 day course detailed above) but also adds a day of practical health and safety management to include a wide area of common workplace hazards and details how to risk assess those risks and how to implement effective control measures.
Environmental training:
Environmental awareness training
Course Length: Half day
This environmental awareness course provides a detailed introduction to environmental management and the associated legislation. Suitable for both employers and employees, the course explores how to make a workplace more environmentally friendly. This can include how to correctly dispose of waste safely, reduce pollution and pursue more sustainable work processes.
Costing
The bespoke training courses detailed above are charged as follows: -
half day training sessions are £75
per person;
full day training sessions it is £100
per person.
